Almost every one of my films delves into some deeper emotional or psychological element, and none fits that mold more perfectly than “Alone.” This film explores the complex mental, physical, and emotional impacts of depression, showing how these aspects can intertwine and envelop a person in a profound way. Creating this film also gave me the opportunity to expand my work internationally, as I traveled to Sydney, Australia, where I was honored to receive the Extra Mile Award at the Sydney Indie Film Festival.
